According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 13

Theft: At 1:39 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance. Contact was made with Ray Hillenburg, who advised that when he returned home from work, unknown persons stole property from his unsecured safe. A theft report was completed and an investigation began.

Dec. 12

Theft: At 9:47 a.m., Kendra Temple reported a theft complaint. She advised that sometime overnight, unknown persons stole property from inside her vehicle. A theft report was completed.

Dec. 11

Burglary: At 9:07 a.m., Kelly Pavey reported a burglary complaint. She advised that sometime overnight, unknown persons entered the residence and stole a firearm. A burglary report was completed and an investigation began.

Possession of Drugs: At 3:01 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Travis Jones, who was suspended. During a search of the vehicle due to the odor of marijuana, suspected narcotics were located. The drug charges are pending.

Domestic Violence: At 9:18 p.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic dispute. Officers made contact with a woman and her husband, David Abel. It was determined that Abel assaulted the woman, and he was arrested and charged.

Dec. 9

Theft: At 2:29 p.m., Ashley Welch reported a theft complaint. She advised that her Ohio Direction card was stolen, possibly the night prior by a known suspect. A theft report was completed and an investigation began.

Theft: At 6:09 p.m., Amber Bailey reported a theft complaint. She advised that while doing her laundry at Spahr Cleaner Laundry, her wallet was stolen out of her unlocked vehicle. A theft report was completed.
