Applications are now available for the Scarecrow Festival Queen pageant. The 2018 Scarecrow Festival Queen pageant will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Greens of Fayette County (703 Highland Ave. in Washington C.H., formerly the Country Club).

The queen and her court will preside during the Scarecrow Festival from Friday, Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 16.

All contestants must attend a high school in Fayette County and be between the ages of 14 and 19. Applications may be picked up at Miami Trace High School, Washington High School, Fayette Christian School, or the Carnegie Public Library.
