Barn Busters enjoy 139th Fayette County Fair

Laikyn Hughes, 16, placed reserve weight class champion in market swine, placed fourth and fifth in market swine, and placed weight class champion in rabbit market (meat pen).

The Barn Busters 4-H Club members enjoyed the 139th Fayette County Fair with several placing in their respective competitions. Laikyn Hughes, 16, placed first in her “It’s My Home” project, placed first and earned outstanding of the day in her “Becoming Money Wise” project, placed first in her cake decorating project, and was a state qualifier with the “Becoming Money Wise” project.

Haley Davis, 16, placed fourth in market rabbit and placed first and outstanding of the day in “Level 2: Controlling the Image” photography project.

Matthew Haddox, 15, placed fourth in market rabbit.

Savanna Bennett, 9, placed first in her “Lets Start Cooking” project.

Bradley Davis, 10, won fourth place market rabbit showmanship, and also was first place and outstanding of the day in his project “Safe Use of Guns” and a state qualifier.

Alexia Houser, 15, first place on cake decorating project.

Kearra Anthony, 12, placed fifth in her class of market sheep.
