CAMBRIDGE — The Washington C.H. 10u All-Stars had their State Little League tournament run come to an end Thursday, Aug. 2 with a 3-1 loss to Cambridge.

Washington C.H. began the tournament with a 17-4 loss to Cambridge. They then defeated Wheelersburg, 5-3 and Avon, 2-1 before the rematch with Cambridge.

Also Thursday, Boardman beat Shelby, 7-4.

Cambridge was scheduled to play Boardman Friday evening and, in a battle of undefeated teams, Maumee was slated to face Loveland Friday.

The winner of the Cambridge-Boardman game would have to beat the winner of the Maumee-Loveland game twice to claim the State championship.

The loser’s bracket final is scheduled for Saturday at noon and the first of potentially two championship games is set for Sunday at noon. A second game, if necessary, would be played Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
