$32,500 in Dill scholarships awarded

Thirteen deserving 2017 Miami Trace graduates have each been awarded a $2,500 scholarship by the Howard & Maureen Dill Scholarship Trust.

The 2017 recipients are: Taylor Barrett, Rose Deck, Nicholas Elrich, Aunika Fabin, Jared Fenner, Lexee Kersey, Timothy Kinzler, Paige Kratzer, Chloe Lambert, Shelby Mulford, Jared Murphy, Clifford Slaughter and Daria Thomas.

These scholarships are made possible by the perpetual scholarship trust established by the estate of Fayette County residents Howard and Maureen Dill.

Each year, all Miami Trace graduating seniors pursuing post secondary training / education are eligible to submit applications to the Miami Trace guidance department for consideration. Candidates nominated by the guidance department are then interviewed by the trustee before selection.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients!
