According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 18

Disorderly by Intoxication: At 12:24 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Street in reference to a telephone harassment complaint. Officers made contact with a female who was severely intoxicated. The woman, identified as Vickey G. Sena, was arrested and charged with the listed offense.

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 5:29 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of South Elm Street in reference to a domestic incident. The victim, identified as Jose C. Campos, advised that his live-in girlfriend allegedly threatened his life with a knife. The female, identified as Amy J. Pepper, was arrested and charged with the listed offense.

Inducing Panic: At 11:45 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Campbell Street in reference to a possible overdose. Officers found David E. Cooper under the influence of heroin. Cooper was charged with the listed offense.

May 17

Possession of Drugs/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:07 a.m., officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Broadway Street and Short Street for a marked lanes violation. Officers made contact with the driver/offender, identified as Travis V. Tait, who was arrested for active warrants. During a search, officers located drugs, paraphernalia and a hypodermic needle. Tait was arrested and charged with the listed offenses.

Possession of Dangerous Drugs: Officers responded to the Fayette County Jail in reference to a male, identified as Ty C. Brannon, who was arrested for an active warrant. It was advised he had prescription medication that was not prescribed to him in his possession prior to entering the jail. Brannon was charged with the listed offense.

May 15

Assault: At 10:26 a.m., Robert Deichtel of 199 Joanne Drive reported that sometime during the night, he was assaulted by two unknown males while walking on Washington Avenue.

Larceny: At 4:53 p.m., John Coy of 221 Chestnut St. reported that a men’s ring was stolen from his vehicle sometime that day.

Domestic Violence: At 10:18 p.m., Kaitlynn Smith of 627 E. Paint St. reported being threatened by her child’s father, Kenneth Leisure. Charges were filed out of the incident.
