Jenkins receives FCRTA college scholarship

The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association (FCRTA) presents a $1,000 scholarship each year to a graduating senior entering the field of education in college. This year’s recipient was Mary Beth Jenkins of Miami Trace. Jenkins will be attending Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind., majoring in elementary education and intervention. Jenkins has already completed two years of advanced placement classes at Cedarville University and will enter college as a sophomore. High school students in the area are fortunate that many take advantage of college courses while still attending high school. Jenkins is pictured with her parents, Brian and Mindy Jenkins, and FCRTA member Barbara Black.
