Spectrum magazine returns

It’s time once again to get ready for the Record-Herald’s highly anticipated annual Spectrum magazine!

Back by popular demand, this year’s entertaining, informative and colorful magazine will focus on the rich history of Fayette County, just as the 2015 edition did. There are still so many stories to tell about a county that’s bursting at the seams with history.

Now, we are asking the community to contribute to this historical keepsake. Are there stories of historical significance that you would like to see told? We’re asking for not only ideas, but articles and photo submissions from the community.

Although there will be plenty of focus on our county seat, Washington Court House, we’re also looking for stories on the varied and unique villages and townships that make up this amazing community that we call Fayette County.

Please don’t limit the topics. Stories about events, people, places, successes, schools, political movements, disasters, businesses, fairs, entrepreneurs, etc. are all welcome.

Stories and photos should be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the Record-Herald office, located at 757 W. Elm St., by Monday, Feb. 2.

We want this to be a community keepsake so please help us make this magazine the best edition of Spectrum yet!
