The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce monthly Business After Hours was held at North Shore Primitives, 153 S. Hinde St. in Washington C.H., and was hosted by owner Megan Hitt.

The store features country and primitive décor, candles, rugs, curtains, jewelry and more.

Hitt became the owner of North Shore in July of 2014 and announced that in November, the upstairs portion of the store will again be open. There will be a tavern room with plans for beer and wine tastings, a kitchen, pantry and bedroom. The upstairs will also feature a Pinterest Room where shoppers can go for craft ideas and all the supplies needed to make that particular craft.

Guests at Business After Hours enjoyed snacks and refreshments, courtesy of Hitt, and were entered in a raffle to win one of several North Shore Primitives’ gift cards. Bob Hammond was the lucky winner of the evening’s 50/50 raffle.

The Chamber of Commerce invites all interested persons to attend a Business After Hours. The next gathering is scheduled for Nov. 18 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and will be hosted by Southern State Community College. The event will take place in the college Community Room, 1270 US Highway 62, Washington Court House.
