The Fayette Christian School Crusaders had a special “pink” game on Friday, Oct. 2 to benefit breast cancer research.

Leading up to the event, the teams and classes at Fayette Christian had a coin drive to raise money. They also sold t-shirts and pink ribbons and there was a bake sale at the game.

“We raised $1,600 to be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation,” coach Angela Harris said.

It was also senior night and the four seniors, Hannah Adams, Jillian Griffith, Cassie Miller, and Dawn Pollock, were recognized at the game.

The FCS varsity volleyball team lost to High Street Christian, 15-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-12 and 13-15.

The Fayette Christian School junior high volleyball team won its match against High Street Christian, 25-20 and 25-22.
