Miami Trace volleyball beats McClain, 3-0

The Miami Trace volleyball team hosted McClain Tuesday for an SCOL match-up.

Miami Trace won in three sets, 25-23, 25-18 and 25-20.

Samantha Ritenour had eight kills and Erica Marshall had seven kills.

Clare Sollars had 11 points served with three aces.

“It was good to get two wins over McClain this season,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said.

Miami Trace is now 12-6 overall, 8-2 in the SCOL, holding fast in second place behind undefeated (in the SCOL) Chillicothe.

Miami Trace is at Hillsboro Thursday and home against Clinton-Massie Tuesday.

J-v matches start at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity.
