The Washington Blue Lions will be hosting a cross country meet Saturday morning.

It will afford the Blue Lions and Miami Trace Panthers their first and only chance to run in Fayette County this season.

The meet will be held at 3477 Mark Rd., which is four miles south of Washington C.H. off of US 62.

The course features hills, woods, a creek and fields.

The middle school girls race goes first at 9:30 a.m.

The boys middle school race starts at 10 a.m.

The high school boys race is set for 10:30 a.m. and the high school girls race is set to start at 11:15 a.m.

At noon there will be a 2-mile fun run (for any and all ages), with an entry fee of $5 per person.

A concession stand will be available.
