The Miami Trace Lady Panther volleyball team is on a bit of a roll recently.
With the SCOL disbanding after the current school year, it was the final league volleyball match between Miami Trace and Clinton-Massie to be held at C-MHS Thursday.
Miami Trace won in three sets, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-20.
The Lady Panthers are now 5-1 in the SCOL, 6-4 overall.
For Miami Trace, Samantha Ritenour had seven kills and three blocks.
Erica Marshall had eight kills.
Jessica Camp had five ace serves and served a total of 12 points.
“Again we were able to win the match in three games,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said. “Our team is doing a better job of staying focused on what we need to be doing during the games.
“The past two weeks, we have been able to put together four wins in a row,” Mace said. “This has been a good run for us to help us get ready for next week.”
Miami Trace hosts Washington Tuesday and Chillicothe Thursday of next week. The j-v matches start each evening at 5 p.m.
