The Miami Trace Middle School will be the site of an upcoming basketball camp for girls who will be in grades 3-8 this upcoming school year.

The camp will run Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday, June 2, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. each day.

The camp will be run by Lady Panthers basketball coaches and players.

The staff will teach a variety of offensive and defensive fundamentals, including: pivoting, rebounding, passing, position work, receiving, dribbling, man-to-man defense and shooting.

The cost is $25 per camper. Every camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Payment will be collected on the first day of camp.

There will be competition drills, daily prizes and daily guest speakers.

The goal is to provide youngsters with a fundamentally sound and enjoyable experience.
