The Miami Trace tennis team made the trip up to London Tuesday and came home with a 5-0 win over the Red Raiders. It is the third 5-0 win for the Panthers this season.
At first singles, Seth Leach defeated Mitchell Reese, 6-1, 6-0.
At second singles, Matt Fender beat Stephen Lingerfelt, 6-0, 6-0.
Johnathan Allen beat Jacob Brown at third singles, 6-0, 6-0.
London had to forfeit both doubles courts because they did not have enough players, Panthers coach Mitch Augenstein said.
The Panthers next play Thursday at Logan Elm to resume a rain-shortened match.
Miami Trace is now 6-8 on the season, double the amount of wins the team has had in the past three years, according to Augenstein.
The Sectional tournament begins Monday in Portsmouth.
