Panther duo Honorable Mention, All-Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Division I and II boys basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Tuesday by a statewide media panel. The teams were selected by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

Two local prep players, seniors both from Miami Trace, Darby Tyree and Cameron Carter, were named Honorable Mention, All-Ohio

Tyree averaged 18.7 points and 8.5 rebounds a game for Miami Trace.

He shot 39 percent from the field and 27 from three-point range.

Tyree averaged 2.2 assists, 1.6 steals and .7 blocks per game and shot 71 percent from the free throw line.

Carter averaged 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.

Carter was a 38 percent field goal shooter, 26 percent from behind the three-point line. He shot 82 percent from the free throw line and also averaged 3.1 steals per game.
