Miami Trace honors 1981-82 team


The Miami Trace 1981-82 girls basketball team was honored at halftime of the girls game against McClain on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018. The ‘81-‘82 team was undefeated in the SCOL (14-0) and 23-1 overall. They were the first Miami Trace girls team to win a District championship. Those attending were (l-r); Nancy Satchell Monteith, Caren Mowery-Evans, Toyia Smith-Watts, Julie Baird Reisinger, Joni Wilson, Amy Stockwell Nestor. Other team members included: Kathy Null, Denise Smith, Kim Null, Connie Tudor, Tricia Robinson, Angie Sowers and Cathy Ward. The team was coached by Scott Sefton and assisted by Cindy Jamison.
