Lady Lions fall to Chillicothe

On a hot Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Washington Lady Blue Lion soccer team hosted the Lady Cavaliers of Chillicothe for a match in the inaugural season of the Frontier Athletic Conference.

Chillicothe won the match, 14-0.

Washington had seven shots on goal to 46 for Chillicothe.

Taylor Smith was in goal in the first half for Washington and had 14 saves.

Kearria Marcum was the keeper in the second half for the Lady Lions with 10 saves.

Chillicothe had eight corner kicks to none for Washington.

The Chillicothe keeper had five saves.

Washington is at Jackson today and has a match at Ross Southeastern Saturday at 10 a.m.
