The Miami Trace Lady Panthers soccer team hosted the team from Athens High School Saturday, Sept. 16.
Athens won the match, 3-1.
Athens scored the first goal, answered by Miami Trace’s Becca Ratliff at the 25:30 mark to tie the match.
Athens scored another goal before the half for a 2-1 halftime lead.
Athens put one more in in the second half to end the game, 3-1.
Khenadi Grubb had 16 saves in the goal for Miami Trace.
The Lady Panthers’ j-v team lost to Athens, 7-0.
Miami Trace will host the Lady Blue Lions of Washington Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.
