Lady Lion volleyball falls to Jackson

JACKSON — The Miami Trace varsity volleyball team made the trip down to Jackson to take on the Iron Ladies in a match in the new Frontier Athletic Conference Thursday, Sept. 14.

Miami Trace lost in five sets, 8-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 10-15.

For Miami Trace, Erica Marshall had 21 kills.

Taylor Dawson had seven kills and Kaylee Hauck had four kills.

Tabby Landrum collected 16 digs.

Dyamin Baker had 27 digs.

“It was a hard-fought match,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said of the back-and-forth battle.

Miami Trace is taking part in a tournament in Circleville Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.

The Lady Panthers will host Washington Tuesday with the j-v match beginning at 5 p.m.
