CHILLICOTHE — The Washington Lady Blue Lion soccer team visited Ohio’s first capital Thursday, Aug. 31 for a Frontier Athletic Conference match with the Lady Cavaliers of Chillicothe High School.

Chillicothe won the match, 11-0.

Washington had six shots on goal and no corner kicks.

Chillicothe had 35 shots on goal and four corner kicks.

For Chillicothe, Addie Erslan had the hat trick plus one (four goals).

Chelsea Crabtree, Olivia Johnson and Jenna Lapurga each scored two goals for Chillicothe and Rebekah Corbin scored one.

Washington’s Taylor Smith had 22 saves in goal. Jayla Brown of Chillicothe had five saves.

Washington will play at Waverly on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Senior recognition will be on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at home against FAC opponent Jackson.

Chillicothe boys soccer beats Blue Lions

Chillicothe defeated Washington in boys varsity soccer Thursday, 14-0.
