The Washington Blue Lion golf team hosted the McClain Tigers for a Frontier Athletic Conference match at The Greens Wednesday, Aug. 30.

McClain won the match with a score of 189 to 211 for the Blue Lions.

McClain’s Newkirk was the medalist with a score of 39.

Brock Morris had the low score of 48 for the Blue Lions.

Other scores for Washington: Tyler Rood, 51; Ty Rose, 52; Gabe Arazo, 60; Brice Cartwright, 64 and Sam Shaffer, 79.

Other scores for McClain: Penwell, 44; Newkirk, 51; Mustard, 55 and Poynter, 62.

Washington’s golf team will play another FAC match Tuesday at Hillsboro.
