Lady Cavs soccer beats Lady Panthers, 7-4

The Miami Trace Lady Panthers soccer team began play in the Frontier Athletic Conference Tuesday, hosting the Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers.

Chillicothe won the match, 7-4.

At the end of the first half, Chillicothe led, 4-1.

Tori Morrison scored that goal for the Lady Panthers, assisted by Magarah Bloom.

The second half was a 3-3 tie.

Emily Powell scored two goals, with one of those assisted by Reagan Barton.

Becca Ratliff also scored a goal for Miami Trace.

Khenadi Grubb had eight saves in the goal.

Miami Trace (0-2 overall, 0-1 in the FAC) plays at McClain High School Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
