The boys Division II Sectional basketball tournament pairings were announced Sunday, Feb. 12.

The Miami Trace Panthers, South Central Ohio League outright champions, received the No. 1 seed.

They will await the winner of the game between No. 8 seed Washington (7-11) and No. 9 seed Circleville (7-12).

Washington will play Circleville Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:15 p.m. at Southeastern High School, located east of Chillicothe.

The Panthers will take on the winner of the above game Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at Southeastern H.S.

The winner of that game will play the winner of No. 4 seed Sheridan (15-4) vs. No. 5 seed Athens (12-6) in the District semifinals at the Convocation Center on the campus of Ohio University in Athens Thursday, March 2 at 6:15 p.m.

The Chillicothe Cavaliers (seeded No. 3 with a record of 11-8) will play future league opponent Jackson (No. 6 seed, 9-11) on Friday, Feb. 24 at 8:30 p.m. at Southeastern High School.

The McClain Tigers (No. 7 seed, 6-13) will play the Hillsboro Indians (No. 10 seed, 4-15) Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. (following the Washington vs. Circleville game) at SEHS.

Unioto (No. 2 seed, 14-4) will play the winner of the McClain-Hillsboro game on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at SEHS.
