Blue Lion bowling beats McClain

The Washington Blue Lion bowling teams hosted McClain for an SCOL match Saturday, Dec. 3.

The Blue Lion boys bowling team rolled off against the Tigers.

The Blue Lions took the lead after the individual games and never looked back. The Blue Lions won the match 2,426 to McClain’s 1,836.

This was a total team effort for the Blue Lions, according to coach Mark Underwood.

Austin Knisley rolled a 426 series along with Brandon Underwood’s 438 series.

Lady Lions bowling tops McClain

Saturday morning the Lady Blue Lions hosted the McClain Lady Tigers at LeElla Lanes.

For Washington, Kalee Crowe had a 185 individual game and Kelsey Potts had a 171 high game.

The Lady Blue Lion had a 1,431 series to McClain’s 1,073 series. After three games of bakers, Washington had a total score of 1,873 to McClain’s 1,402.

Washington is at Wilmington’s Royal Z Lanes Wednesday to take on Clinton-Massie. The pins are scheduled to start flying at 4 p.m.
