God still has His hand on us

I am writing this article differently than you might have become accustomed to because of the things that we are all going through at this time.

Matthew 12;25

Jesus said: “Every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

We are in a time when we need to come together as never before. Things are changing day to day and it is stressful to not know what will happen.

Matthew 6:25-26

Jesus also said: “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26. “Look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gathering into barns; Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

God still has His hand on the United States and He will take care of us. During WWII England was saved when they were reminded; “The only thing to fear is fear itself.”

Growing up I heard about the great depression from my grandparents. My grandfather and only one other man in the church had a job. Grandma told me that one week my grandfather would give his check to the church and the next week the other man would give his so that people would have a place to hear the truth of the word of God. Everyone benefited because everyone was doing what they could.

It is not always easy to keep a good attitude in tough times but when we do, it will make these times much better. Life is not all that long so let’s enjoy each day we have.
