Danielle Maynard is the Carnegie Public Library Reader of the Week. She is the daughter of Jason and Rebecca Maynard.

What school do you attend and what do you like to do? I am in seventh grade at Miami Trace Middle School and I like to read and cook.

What are you reading now? “City of Lost Souls” by Cassandra Clare, “The Scorpio Races” by: Maggie Stiefvater, “The Dead and the Gone” by: Susan Beth Pfeffer, “Reached” by: Ally Condie, and “The Book Thief” by: Mark Zusak.

Has there ever been a book that you did not want to read (but had to for school) and ended up loving? No.

What is your favorite and least favorite kind of book? My favorite is fiction and biographies are my least favorite.

What was your favorite book when you were little? “Junie B. Jones and Her Big Fat Mouth” by: Barbara Park.

When you are not reading, what do you like to do in your spare time? I like to watching movies based on books.

What is your favorite movie that was based on a book? I liked “The Maze Runner.”
