Success with Fayette Fat Fighters

0

Roger Boysel has been coming to Fayette Fat Fighters with his wife JoAnn for over a year now and he has successfully lost over 50 pounds.

Roger and his wife said they enjoy coming to the Fat Fighters on Monday evenings because of the encouragement and education they receive each week. Roger also noted that being weighed consistently each week has helped him to be accountable.

This group meets every Monday and weigh-in is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Class is from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Each class is different but always includes education about nutrition, eating healthier, and getting a healthy recipe.

The theme of Fat Fighters is to not be on a diet but changing our lifestyles to eat healthier, drink more water and certainly to keep moving. The group is always encouraging one another and sharing helpful hints. We sometimes have tasting tests, sharing different foods and always lots of fun.

So if you are interested in getting some motivation and help to lose weight, please join us on Mondays. The class is free. We do not meet on legal holidays and if weather is bad we may cancel. So don’t wait until after the holidays when it is so easy to pick up extra weight, go ahead and give us a try.

If you have questions please call Jeannie Bihl, R.N. at 335-5910.
