According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 14

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:57 a.m., Officers stopped a male and female near the intersection of Delaware Street and Campbell Street for a traffic violation. During the contact, officers found the female in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The female, identified as Angela T. Leisure, was arrested for the listed offenses.

Theft: At 6:35 p.m., an employee of Family Farm and Home on Columbus Avenue reported that a female concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The female, identified as Chrissa A. Mason, was located and property was recovered. Mason was arrested for the offense.

Sept. 13

Criminal Damaging: At 9:54 a.m., Shannon Johns reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) shattered the driver side window on his truck.

Criminal Simulation/Theft: At 1:43 p.m., an employee of Boylan Jewelers reported that unknown person(s) used counterfeit currency to purchase merchandise.

Theft: At 2:22 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported that they observed a female conceal merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for the items. Kelsey Everhart was charged with the offense.

Theft: At 5:14 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported that they observed a female conceal merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for the items. Crystal D. Wilson was charged with the offense.

Theft: The Washington C.H. Police Department is currently investigating several reports of vehicles parked at Washington High School that were entered and property removed.
