Bumpus Trucking receives award for safety

Bumpus Trucking, Inc. was presented a Gold award by Great West Casualty Company as part of the 2015 National Safety Awards Program.

Bumpus Trucking, Inc. is a locally owned and operated trucking, warehousing and expediting service. It is owned by Chip Bumpus and has been in business for over 30 years. Bumpus Trucking primarily services the auto industry and various other companies.

The National Safety Awards program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable crash results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory award. This past year, the National Safety Awards program drew over 675 participants from across the country.
