According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 7

Larceny: Employees of the Kroger grocery store reported a shoplifter removed several grocery items from the store without paying for them.

Criminal Damaging: Alfred Dixon of 122 W. Elm St. reported that someone damaged the windshield of his vehicle.

Aug. 4

Theft: At 2:37 p.m., an employee of Fox Jewelers reported that an unknown male removed merchandise from behind the counter and departed the store.

Theft: At 1:34 p.m., an employee of CVS Pharmacy reported that he/she observed a female conceal merchandise and attempt to depart the store without paying for the items. Brandi M. Lamb was arrested for the offense.

Aug. 3

Criminal Damaging/Theft: Jeremy Rounsley reported that unknown person(s) broke the passenger side window on his vehicle and removed property from inside.

Aug. 1

Criminal Damaging: Claudia Haggard of 55 Dunbar Court reported that her son Cody Bowen damaged a solar-powered floodlight on her property.
