Did you know that worms have five hearts, no teeth and can eat their weight in a day? Or that there are a million worms in a football field and that worms play an important role in healthy productive soil? These are things the participants of Fayette Soil and Water’s Naturalist Educator Brigitte Hisey’s “Worm Workshop” found out at Jeffersonville Branch Library recently. They also took a closer look at the soil to learn just what is beneath their feet.

Isabella Smith loved the worm workshop at Jeffersonville Branch Library recently.
