Fayette County OSU Alumni hold meeting

The Fayette County OSU Alumni annual meeting was held on Saturday, April 16 at The Crown Room.

A great turnout of 61 Buckeyes were in attendance, including the guest speaker, Shelley Graf, and three 2016 scholarship recipients. Those in attendance enjoyed Shelley’s story of becoming the first female drum major for The Ohio State University in 1981. She not only entertained the group with sharing her history, but with an energetic and impressive drum major performance.

Another highlight of the evening included the introduction of three scholarship recipients. Cameron Eckles, of Washington High School, Riley Evans, of Miami Trace High School, and Cassandra Miller, of Fayette Christian School, shared their career goals and extracurricular interests for their time at The Ohio State University. A fourth scholarship recipient, Erin Johnson, was unable to attend.

These four are wished the best of luck at OSU and Go Bucks!
