According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 9

Possession of Drugs: At 1:05 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation, at which time officers asked if any weapons or narcotics were in the vehicle. The front seat passenger, Darrick Rice, then gave officers suspected narcotics and paraphernalia. A case was completed and the drug charges are pending.

Domestic Violence: At 4:39 p.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with a woman who advised that she and her child’s father, Christopher Keller, got into an argument. During the argument she made a claim that she was assaulted by Keller, who had already fled on foot. Officers located Keller, who was arrested and charged.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 8:37 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, Michael Hicks, was found to be driving suspended and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Hicks was charged accordingly.

Theft: At 10:21 p.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Contact was made with the complainant, who advised an unknown female stole merchandise and departed the store approximately an hour prior to notifying police. A report was completed.

Sept. 8

Bench Warrant/Obstructing Official Business/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 6:51 p.m., officers observed Chad Ingles Jr., who had an active warrant, in the area of the Bluestone Inn. Once contact was made, Ingles fled on foot and after a short foot pursuit, he was apprehended. During a search incident to the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located on Ingles.

Sept. 7

Burglary: At 7:36 p.m., Treta Davis, of Yeoman Street, reported that an unknown person caused damage to the rear door and entered the residence without permission.
