According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 8

Dog Running at Large: At 9:19 a.m., Robert Hughes reported a dog complaint. He advised that his neighbor, Eduardo Gracian, continues to allow his dog to run at large. Gracian was advised of the complaint, and Hughes was referred to the city solicitor for possible charges.

Criminal Damaging: At 10:05 a.m. while investigating a complaint with Eduardo Gracian, he advised that his wife, Angel Gracian, damaged a window to his vehicle. A criminal damaging report was completed.

Telecommunication Harassment: At 7:17 p.m., a woman reported a telecommunication harassment complaint. She advised that her ex-boyfriend and father to her child, Deshaun Faries, has been continually texting her unwanted messages. Charges were filed.

Aug. 7

Criminal Simulation: At 12:37 p.m., officers responded to Save A Lot in reference to counterfeit money. Contact was made with the complainant who advised unknown persons passed a fake $100 bill. A report was completed.

Theft of a Motor Vehicle: At 2:34 p.m., Arielle Wolfe reported a motor vehicle theft. She advised that while getting groceries out of her vehicle, an unknown person stole her vehicle. A short time later the vehicle was located in Greenfield following an accident. The offender was identified as Brian Hamilton. Charges were filed through the Greenfield Police Department.

Disorderly Conduct: At 10:13 p.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic. Contact was made with Lee Early, who was intoxicated. During the investigation of the complaint, Early continued to act disorderly and was subsequently arrested and charged.

Criminal Damaging: At 11:29 p.m., officers responded to the Washington Square parking lot in reference to a reckless driver. The complainant advised that the subjects in a vehicle were driving fast, holding a shopping cart outside the vehicle. The subjects then released the shopping cart, which struck a parked semi-truck. Officers located the offender vehicle at UDF and made contact with 18-year-old Domonique Hargo, who admitted to the incident. A report was completed and charges are pending. The shopping cart was destroyed and the semi was damaged.

Aug. 6

Criminal Trespassing: At 9:53 p.m., officers responded to Pettits BP in reference to a soliciting complaint. Officers made contact with Samuel Higman, who had previously been banned from there. Higman was arrested and charged.

Possession of Drugs/Marijuana Paraphernalia: At 11:36 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, Matthew Seitz, at which time a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. During a vehicle search, suspected narcotics were located. The drug charges are pending.
