Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 22

Assault: At 12:29 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the two parties involved, James Tolle and Nathanial VanWinkle. Both had conflicting statements and a report was completed.

Theft: At 9:26 a.m., Gage Worthington reported a theft complaint. He advised that unknown persons stole his bicycle while parked outside of the City Motel. A theft report was completed.

Protection Order Violation: At 8:28 p.m., officers observed a suspicious male in the alley near Eastern and Forest talking to someone who could not be seen. Contact was made with the male, identified as Joshua Justice. While making contact, officers observed a female, identified as Amanda Cox, hiding by a trash can. It was determined that Cox had a civil protection order against Justice, and that Cox had a warrant through Pike County. Both were arrested and taken to jail.
