Sara Powell, along with Pat Brinkman, from the local OSU Extension office, recently completed cooking classes at The Bread of Life.
There were a total of 10 classes with nutrition education and taste testing of healthy food choices. Those who attended eight out of 10 classes were awarded certificates of completion, as well as, slow cookers.
We will be planning more cooking classes for fall of this year. Additionally, we will again be offering canning safety classes in July.
