Over $1,500 raised for Dwight Turner Memorial Spaghetti Dinner

Approximately $1,550 was raised for the Special Olympics program at the fifth-annual Dwight Turner Memorial Spaghetti Dinner, held on Friday, March 4.

The Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities thanks the Fayette County community for all of its support. According to the Board of DD, a special thank you goes to The Fayette Progressive School, the Burning Bush Church, Altrusa, Debbie Allen, Kroger and the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church for their donations.

As Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” It takes a community to work together to bring about success, so thank you Fayette County.
