According to reports, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

MARCH 10

TRAFFIC CRASH: James Bellinger, Greenfield was north bound on S.R. 41, when another vehicle, driven by Connie McCune, Washington C.H., who was also north bound, attempted to make a U-Turn in the roadway. McCune pulled into the path of Bellinger and was subsequently struck. McCune and Bellinger, as well as two passengers in Bellinger’s vehicle were transported to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both vehicle sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Bobby Prickett, Washington C.H. reported he attempted to dodge debris in the roadway on US 35 East bound at the 20 mm, when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck the 20 mm sign post. The sign post sheared off and came through the front windshield of the vehicle. Prickett then swerved across the east bound lanes and into the median where he came to a stop. Prickett sustained minor injuries but declined to be transported by EMS. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Prickett was cited for failure to control.

THEFT: Employees of Nike Outlet store, Tanger Mall reported two subjects removed property from the business without making payment. The subjects departed the area prior to the arrival of Deputies.

UNRULY JUVENILE /CRIMINAL DAMAGING/MENACING: A female reported her 15 year old son had been disruptive in the home, caused damage and threatened physical harm to her. The mother declined charges in this matter.

MARCH 9

TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to the area of Palmer Road, at Mt. Olive Road, on a report of a one vehicle traffic crash. Upon making contact with the driver, Bradley Caulley, it was determined that he was west bound on Palmer Road, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, where he struck a ditch, fence and tree and then rolled over. Caulley was cited for failure to control.

MARCH 7

CONTRIBUTING TO THE UNRULINESS OF A JUVENILE: Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Miami Trace Road on a report of a 14 year old juvenile female associating with an a known adult male against the instructions of the parents/guardians. The male had been previously warned by a deputy to cease contact with the juvenile. It was determined that on this date the male had driven the female juvenile to school. Charges were filed in Juvenile Court.

GAMBLING: Kathleen Owen, of Woonsocket, R.I. reported she was enticed into a game of chance at the Travel Centers of America and subsequently lost a sizable amount of money. The subjects departed prior to her contacting the Sheriff’s Office.

THEFT: Kristal Collins, Bloomingburg reported a known person stayed overnight at her residence and the next day she found property missing from the residence.

MARCH 6

TRAFFIC CRASH: Richard McCleese, Wilmington, was driving down an isle in the Tanger Mall parking lot, when a vehicle backed from the parking space into his path of travel. McCleese’s vehicle struck the other vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles. The driver of the other vehicle provided insurance information to McCleese, but departed the scene prior to the arrival of Deputies.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Angela Hill, Bloomingburg reported she was physically assaulted by her husband Adam Hill. Adam Hill was subsequently located and arrested on this charge.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Deputies responded to third party report of a domestic violence incident in Jeffersonville. Upon attempting to make contact with the reported victim, there was no answer. A short time later the female was contacted and reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with her husband but denied any physical altercation and no signs of any physical injury was observed.

OBSTRUCTING OFFICIAL BUSINESS/DRUG ABUSE/DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION: Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of the Washington C.H. city service garage. While attempting to make contact with the vehicle it fled and turned off its lights. The vehicle was subsequently located and the driver was identified as James Price, Chillicothe. During the traffic stop the driver repeatedly made suspicious movements in the car after being instructed not to. Price was physically removed from the vehicle and secured. A search of the vehicle produced a substance believed to be illegal drugs. A check of Price’s driving record found that his driving privileges were suspended. Mr. Price was arrested on for Obstructing and Driving Under Suspension.

ASSAULT: A female reported she was involved in a verbal argument at J’s Bar & Grill with three other females and also reported being assaulted.

MARCH 5

POSSESS DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENTS: Deputies were dispatched to an unknown disturbance in the 3000 block of Route 41. While at the residence hypodermic needle was located in the residence. Amber Helsel was arrested in the incident.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Deputies were dispatched to a domestic complaint at 94 Jamison Road. Upon the completion of the investigation it was determined that no violence or threats of violence occurred.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Deputies were dispatched to Woodsview Drive in Jeffersonville on a domestic complaint. While at the residence a female was struck on the side of the face. Jason Mongold was arrested in the incident.

MARCH 4

THEFT: A report was made concerning property being removed from a student’s locker at the Miami Trace High School.

MENACING: A report was made by a female alleging during a verbal altercation with a known male, she was threatened with physical harm.

ASSAULT: An employee of the Ranch of Opportunity reported being assaulted by a 14 year old female resident of the Ranch.

TAMPERING WITH COIN MACHINES/POSSESSING CRIMINAL TOOLS/OBSTRUCTING OFFICIAL BUSINESS/BREAKING AND ENTERING: Deputies received a complaint that a male was attempting to break into a vending machine on the lot of Tanger Outlet Mall. As a deputy approached the suspect, he fled on foot to a vehicle which was later stopped. Darren Mosley was arrested in the incident.

MARCH 3

FOUND PROPERTY: Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Tanger Outlet in reference to recovered property. Deputies recovered the property and made contact with the owner releasing the property.

ASSAULT: Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Fayette County Jail on reports of an assault. Jason Wooley of Las Vegas, NV reports while being incarcerated he was assaulted by another inmate. Cain Tippie of Washington C.H. was charged in the matter.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Kimberly Schirtzinger of Greenfield was traveling east on Greenfield Sabina Road when a deer entered the roadway into the path of her vehicle. Schirtzinger subsequently struck the deer causing minor damage to her vehicle.

THEFT: Dianne Tolle of Jeffersonville reported someone removed a license plate from her vehicle.
