According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 7

Criminal Trespassing: At 11:28 a.m., officers responded to the Fayette Landing in reference to a trespassing complaint. The complainant advised that Robert McClendon was in a room after previously being banned from the property. McClendon was located in a room and was charged with criminal trespassing.

Theft: At 5:17 p.m., Jenny VanSlyke reported a theft complaint. She advised that her vehicle was disabled on the lot of Kroger, where unknown persons stole the license plates from the vehicle. A theft report was completed.

April 6

Theft: At 11:12 a.m., officers responded to Ace Hardware in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant advised that an unknown male stole merchandise and departed the store. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 12:26 p.m., officers responded to Ace Hardware in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant advised that an unknown male and female stole merchandise and departed the store. A theft report was completed.

April 5

Theft: At 11:40 a.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant advised that an unknown male “pushed out” merchandise without paying. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 8:51 p.m., officers responded to United Dairy Farmers (UDF) in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant advised that a male stole merchandise and departed. The offender was identified as Brian Hinkley. Charges were filed.

Theft: At 11:15 p.m., Dustin Follrod reported a theft complaint. He advised that unknown persons stole property off of his porch. A theft report was completed.
