Giving creative ‘thank yous’

The current meal program is using WCHCS buses and bus stops to pass out meals to those ages 0-18 at no cost, which is part of the Big Blue Bus program that began last year.

Some chalk drawings were very detailed as children waited for buses to arrive for the WCHCS lunch program.

Washington Court House City Schools’ (WCHCS) first-ever virtual spirit week, which is ongoing, kicked off on Friday with families, kids and community members thanking different entities and people.

The ways the thank yous were presented during WCHCS “Thank You Friday” were various and included several chalk drawings, jokes and handmade signs.

Virtual spirit week consists of Thank You Day Friday, Stay in your PJs Monday, Sock-it-to-COVID-19 Crazy Sock Tuesday, America— the Red, White and Blue-tiful Wednesday, as well as Blue Lion Blue and White Thursday.
