According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 28

Obstructing Official Business: At 2:01 a.m. while on patrol, an officer observed a male who fled at the sight of his police cruiser. After a short foot pursuit, Clifford Morris was apprehended. He was arrested and charged.

Breaking and Entering/Theft: At 4:41 p.m., David Thompson reported a burglary that took place sometime over the past few days. He advised that unknown persons forcibly entered his camper and stole items. A report was completed.

Disorderly Conduct: At 9:19 p.m., officers responded to the Village Court Apartments multiple times in reference to an intoxicated female. The female was identified as Jennifer Blanton, who was under the influence of drugs and unable to care for herself. Blanton was arrested and charged.

Theft: At 11 p.m., Kimberlyn Pendergraft reported a theft complaint. She advised that her son, Donald Howland, had possession of her phone, which was stolen while he was on Cherry Street. A theft report was completed.

March 27

Receiving Stolen Property/Possession of Drugs: At 8:54 p.m., officers located a stolen vehicle on the parking lot of Kroger, which was occupied. Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Dana Turner, who was arrested for receiving stolen property. During a search incident to the arrest, suspected narcotics were located and those charges are pending.
