According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 9

Theft: At 4:53 p.m., loss prevention at Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., reported that a female committed a theft of merchandise and then fled from loss prevention when they tried to stop her. Officers arrived and located Lindsay Lemons hiding around semis on the parking lot. Lemons was arrested and charged with theft. She was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was additionally charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: At 7:19 p.m., loss prevention at Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., reported that two female shoplifters were in custody. Officers arrived and were advised that the two females concealed merchandise in a purse and then attempted to depart the store without paying for the merchandise. Sarah Woods and a 12-year-old juvenile were arrested for theft.

Nov. 8

Theft: At 1:14 p.m., an employee of Ace Hardware, located at 88 Washington Square, reported that an unknown female concealed merchandise on her person and departed the business without paying for the merchandise.

Assault: At 7:31 p.m., Brian Michael reported that while at his residence, located at 233 Chestnut St., that a known subject pulled into his driveway. Michael approached the vehicle and was assaulted.
