Fay and Geneva (Countryman) Washburn will be celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary this month.
They were married in Greenup, Ky., on Feb. 12, 1945 by Reverend Ben E. Hunt.
They are the parents of three children, Jimmie Washburn, Rebecca (Larry E.) Rowe, and Tonya (Jerry) Tuttle, all of Washington C.H. They are the grandparents of four grandchildren: Brian (Teresa) Rowe of Washington C.H., Scott (Melissa) Rowe of Belgrade, Minn., Dawn (Allen) Dawson, of Washington C.H., and Mindy Willis of Sabina.
They have 11 great grandchildren. Fay is retired from Rockwell International in Columbus and Geneva is a homemaker.
