According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
Oct. 23
Theft: At 11:28 a.m., Ike Crabtree reported that sometime since Aug. 5, unknown persons removed items from his residence without permission. A theft report was completed.
Theft: At 3:35 p.m., Joyce Reed reported that within the past few days, unknown persons stole both license plates off of her vehicle. A theft report was completed. The stolen plates were recovered later that night on a stolen vehicle in Springfield and suspects were identified.
Theft/Forgery/Identity Fraud: At 3:45 p.m., Louise Evans reported that checks were stolen from her residence, forged and cashed by a suspected relative. A report was completed and an investigation began.
Assault: At 4:51 p.m., a man reported that while at work he was assaulted by a coworker. An investigation began and a report was completed.
