Two-vehicle accident traps one driver

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 753 and Robinson Road at around 3 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle photographed was traveling southbound when it struck another vehicle in a head-on/side-swipe collision that was making a left turn from the northbound lane onto Robinson Road. The driver of the photographed vehicle was trapped within as the door was pinned until emergency crews arrived. Both drivers were taken to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
