According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 21

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 1:32 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and made contact with the driver, identified as Samuel Saunders. Saunders was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged.

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 5:44 a.m., officers stopped Shawn Downey on a bicycle for improper bicycle lighting. Downey was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged.

Breaking and Entering/Theft: At 3:04 p.m., Anthony Joseph reported that unknown persons cut the lock off his storage unit and stole property sometime overnight. A report was completed.

Obstructing Official Business/Drug Paraphernalia: At 3:46 p.m., officers located Lacey Waybright at Dairy Queen, and she had an active warrant through the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. She gave false information to officers in reference to her name, and was arrested. She was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs, which are being sent to B.C.I. for further testing.

Burglary/Drug Paraphernalia: At 5:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officers located Blaine Bailey and Jenny Vanslyke in the residence. Both were arrested and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Marijuana: At 7:39 p.m., an officer located Annette Burris, who had an active bench warrant for her arrest. She was arrested and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
