Miami Trace FFA Alumni holds consignment sale

0

The Miami Trace FFA Alumni, in cooperation with the Wendt Group, Inc., held the annual Consignment Sale on Friday, Dec. 4 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds.

This was the first year the FFA Alumni worked in partnership with the Wendt Group, Inc. with the hope of continuing this successful relationship in the future. The FFA would like to extend a special thank you to Kevin Wendt and Nick Cummings for their efforts in ensuring the success of the auction. The Wendt group has committed 1 percent of the gross earnings to the Miami Trace FFA Alumni with the sale totaling approximately $418,000.

The Miami Trace FFA Alumni uses their earnings to support the members of the Miami Trace FFA throughout the year. For instance, the Alumni provides approximately $10,000-$20,000 in scholarships each year to graduating seniors pursing further education.

Also, they give money so FFA members can attend Ohio FFA camp and the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. during the summer. The Miami Trace FFA chapter is extremely grateful for all that the Alumni does to support their endeavors and would like to thank all the individuals who donated their time, efforts and equipment to help make this tradition of the consignment sale a success.

Miami Trace FFA is a satellite program of Great Oaks Career Campuses.
