According to reports, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

DEC. 17

BREAKING AND ENTERING/THEFT: Jasper Township Trustees reported that someone entered their equipment garage and removed two Stihl chainsaws.

THEFT: Bryan Clunk, of Marion, reported while on the lot of Love’s in Jeffersonville five males approached him and scammed him out of money.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Bradley Holloway, of Washington C.H., was traveling southbound on Route 38 near Brock Road when Holloway struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

ASSAULT: Ricardo Lee, of Cincinnati, reported that a known male struck him while on the lot of Tanger Outlets.

DEC. 16

BREAKING AND ENTERING/THEFT: James Hagler, of Bloomingburg, reported someone removed property from his barn.

VEHICLE DAMAGE: Micayla Nash reported her vehicle being damaged while parked at Tanger mall.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Rebecca Smith of West Lancaster was traveling east on State Route 734 when a deer entered the roadway causing a collision. No injuries were reported.

MENACING: Michael Depugh, of Washington C.H., reported threats he received from a known male.

DEC. 15

AGGRAVATED MENACING: Tanya Scaggs, of Mt Sterling, reported that a known male verbally threatened her.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Janes Street in Jeffersonville upon reports of a domestic dispute.

THEFT: Employees of DSW of Tanger mall reported a theft incident with a known suspect. Restitution was made out of the incident.

DEC. 14

TRAFFIC CRASH: A 16-year-old male was traveling east on Anderson Road and lost control of his vehicle. The driver traveled across the centerline of the roadway, overcorrected traveling off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash. The driver was cited for Failure to Control.

THEFT: Wilson Leather reported someone entered the business obtained property and departed without making payment.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Barbara Pettiford, of Greenfield, was traveling south on S.R. 41 when a deer entered the roadway causing a collision. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage in the crash.

THEFT: Brad Self, of Washington C.H., reported a delivery service delivered his packages to the wrong address and now one package cannot be located.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Brian Ater, of Clarksburg, was traveling south on S.R. 207 when a deer entered the roadway causing a collision. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage in the crash.

THEFT: Lubreta Wolfe, of Washington C.H., reported someone removed money from her residence.

WANTED PERSON/OBSTRUCTING OFFICIAL BUSINESS: Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Baymont Inn on suspicions activity. Upon completion of the investigation Shawn Bock was arrested for an active warrant. Jessica Huff was also arrested out of the incident.
