According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 18

Theft: At 7:48 a.m., Corey Keller reported that sometime in the morning after a guest left his residence, he discovered items missing. A theft report was completed.

Dog Running at Large: At 6:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Pin Oak Place in reference to dogs running at large. Officers determined that Taylor Gray was the dog owner, and Gray was subsequently charged due to multiple complaints.

Disorderly Conduct: At 7:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to Davis Court in reference to a disorderly female. Police made contact with Jan Van Brunt, who was under the influence and would not cease and desist her actions. She was arrested and charged.

May 17

Theft: At 9:49 a.m., an employee from Lost Pet Recovery reported that a trail camera was stolen within the past tow days from the 500 block of Glenn Avenue. The complainant advised that the camera was placed in that location to locate a lost pet. A theft report was completed.

Felony 4 Domestic Violence: At 11:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to Murphy USA, 1399 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a domestic disturbance where a male was observed assaulting a female. The officer made contact with the female and Tyler Souders, who were the two parties involved. It was determined that Souders assaulted the female, and he was arrested for domestic violence.

Obstructing Official Business/Resisting Arrest: At 6:31 p.m., officers responded to the dog park at 1205 S. Elm St. in reference to a disturbance. Officers determined that Bryant Kearns was causing the disturbance, and he obstructed the officers’ investigation. While attempting to arrest Kearns, he resisted. He was arrested and charged accordingly.

Breaking & Entering/Theft: At 6:43 p.m., Robert Fryman reported that sometime since May 10, unknown persons entered his storage unit and stole his electric scooter. A report was completed.

Possession of Marijuana: At 11:16 p.m., officers responded to a possible drunk driver where the vehicle was stopped on the South Elm Street bridge. It was determined that the driver was having a medical emergency. The passenger who was identified as Joshua Slone was in possession of marijuana. He was issued a citation for the drug possession.

May 16

Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 12:40 a.m., officers responded to the Carnegie Library in reference to a suspicious person. Officers made contact with Sarah Donahue, who was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and charged.

Criminal Trespassing/Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 11:48 p.m., officers responded to the Washington C.H. Little League fields in reference to suspicious persons in one of the dugouts. Officers made contact with Travis Shaw and Isabelle Allman, who were arrested for trespassing. Shaw was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were charged accordingly.

May 15

Disorderly Conduct/Drug Paraphernalia/Resisting Arrest/Ethnic Intimidation: At 12:45 a.m., officers responded to an intoxicated male displaying narcotics in a bar. Officers made contact with Anthony Darthard, who had already received a disorderly conduct warning for his intoxication. He was arrested and drug paraphernalia was located on him. Once at the jail, he resisted arrest and made racist threatening comments to officers. He was charged accordingly.

Theft: At 1:35 .m., Skylar Johnson reported his wallet stolen by a possible acquaintance. It was later located, but missing money. A theft report was completed.

Disorderly Conduct: At 7:35 a.m., officers were dispatched to the city administration building in reference to a male causing a disturbance with employees. Contact was made with Richard Baughn, who did not cease and desist his actions. He was then arrested.

Theft: At 3:05 p.m., Fabrienna Henry reported that over the past few weeks multiple items were stolen from inside her residence. A theft report was completed.

Burglary: At 3:54 p.m., Penny Skinner reported that when she returned home, she observed the rear door to her residence open and items stolen. A burglary report was completed.

May 14

Violation of a Protection Order: At 9:01 a.m., a woman reported a protection order violation by Ryan McClure. She has an active protection order against McClure, and advised that he sent her a text message, which violated the protection order. A report was completed.

Theft: At 10:51 a.m., Misty Shiltz reported that recently, unknown persons stole three tires and rims from the rear of her residence. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 11:31 a.m., Vicki Woods reported that unknown persons stole her debit card from inside her residence and withdrew funds. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 12:21 p.m., Brittany McCoy reported that items were stolen from her residence, possibly by an ex-roommate. The items were later recovered at a pawn shop. An investigation began.

Obstructing Official Business: At 9:21 p.m., officers attempted to arrest a person on a warrant. Contact was made with Angela Rozell, who gave officers false information. Rozell was arrested for obstructing.
